It has now been nearly a decade since I first began working as a mass transit operator. Like many others, I struggled at first to adjust to the long hours and work requirements. However, I quickly came to appreciate the job because it afforded me the incredible opportunity to travel the world, provide my children with an exceptional education, and enjoy a middle-class lifestyle.

Personally, commercial driving is the best job in the world. Every day is different, and the benefits and flexibility outweigh any negatives. All jobs are complicated, but you should still enjoy the work you do. Being a bus operator changed my life and led me down the career path to becoming self-employed and a company owner.

Easy to Get In

The biggest lie in this country is that you need an expensive four-year degree to find success. With that piece of paper, though, comes a mountain of debt. The people I attended college with many years ago are still struggling to pay off their school debt. There is no reason why a young twenty-two year old should be burdened with $25,000 of school loans.
